    I think my worst movements are gimnastics... My pullups are rusty after years of break, also I wish to do first MU without scaling. Anyway, its grate to hear again about engines that multiplicateing rows like 5*500m in the same time is very important - I herd about it years ago on rowing training, do it and thats give a huge benefits.

    Amazing 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 you made sport very clear and organised to me ! I was look at it as group of movements that’s not really related to each other but only related to the body parts but now I got a whole complete different thinking about it , this is the most organised and cohesive content about sport on UA-cam ,, thanks a lot 🙏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Many thanks to you please keep doing those videos about fundamentals in sports also fundamentals about machines in the gym please 🙏🏼

    I think Skills, Strength, and Aesthetics, while valuable, misses out on an important element of accessory work: preventing injury, something that becomes more important as athletes get older. I think injury prevention is far more critical than the Aesthetic component.

    One of the most important things for any type of training that I need to work a lot to improve is my breathing technique. This probably falls into the Engine category but I think it's worth being a separate category of accessory work.

    Going for Gymnastics (Mobility) because of the movements and engine to do the WOD properly. Core is a trick accessory from Ben, since your training core with every movement you do.

    • @WODprep
      @WODprep 2 дні тому

      Very true - but there are different types of core training. Holding a barbell overhead is a different thing than sit ups, for example! 💪 In a similar way you might choose to target your biceps directly by doing bicep curls rather than relying on pull-ups to build them.

    Strength and core. But I would also include mobility because you need a base level of it to even execute some of the moves without injury (at least as a 65-year-old). Also, I like to do mobility on "rest days".

    The best coach on DUs for sure. My bad habit is my foot slightly flat. My knees are good and the height; my problem is the feet almost flat on the landing; also my hands tend to go wider as soon as I start the DU. I already put an elastic but arms continues to open up.
